Virtual Running Physical Therapy

Virtual Running Physical Therapy is designed for runners who want guidance that actually accounts for how they train, recover, and live day to day.

This work blends running-specific rehab, strength training, and training decision support into one ongoing process. Sessions focus on understanding what’s driving symptoms, building tissue capacity, and making smart adjustments that help you keep running now while setting you up to run well long term.

Who SS Virtual Running PT tends to work well for:

  • Runners who have training goals they care about

You don’t need to race professionally. You do need to value your running and want your training decisions to support it over time.

  • Runners who like understanding the “why” behind decisions

Sessions include clear explanations around training changes, rehab progressions, and recovery choices so things make sense outside of appointments.

  • Runners dealing with running-specific injuries

This often includes tendon overload, bone stress injuries, and knee, foot, or hip pain that shows up primarily with running.

  • Runners who have tried PT before

Especially runners whose prior rehab felt disconnected from running mechanics, training load, or return-to-run planning.

  • Runners who want an active approach to long-term running health

The work centers on building tissue capacity and decision-making skills that support consistent running over many years.

  • Runners balancing training with real-life constraints

Work demands, family responsibilities, sleep variability, and limited time are all part of the planning process.

  • Runners returning from injury who want to rebuild confidence

This includes both physical readiness and gradually restoring trust as training volume and intensity increase.

  • Runners who want their run coach, strength coach, and PT to be the same person

Having one provider oversee training, strength work, and rehab helps everything move in the same direction.

Who SS Virtual Running PT may not be the best for:

  • Someone looking for a quick fix or a provider to “fix” them

Progress depends on shared decision-making and consistent follow-through.

  • Someone who isn’t willing to put in the work between sessions

Strength training, running adjustments, and follow-up work all matter.

  • Someone who isn’t open to addressing contributing life factors

Sleep, fueling, stress, and overall recovery capacity often influence how well running-related issues improve and stay stable.
